Membership
The Members of the Association shall consist a person who is a Proprietor/Partner, integrator, doing Renewable Energy, (Solar Energy, WindMill Energy, LED Manufacturers, Inverter Manufacturers, Batteries Manufacturers, integrators, etc.,) business of any kind in Telangana and paid annual subscription.
The Member so admitted will have such rights, responsibilities and liabilities as laid down in these By-Laws.
Cessation of Membership
On Death or on expulsion under these by-laws or forms any Association related to Renewable energy business in Telangana or joins any Association/society related to Renewable energy business in Telangana.
If he/she is declared as bankrupt or insolvent.
If he/she is convicted under any Civil/Criminal laws of the land.
A Member shall cease to be a Member when he ceases from renewable energy business.
Rights of a Member
Every Member shall be provided a copy of the By-Laws of the Association from time to time.
Every Member shall be entitled to receive a copy of the statement of account and such other documents relating to the management and affairs of the Association, if required.
Every Member shall be entitled to submit his/her grievance.
Every Member shall be entitled to know as to how surplus funds of the Association are deployed. However, this right shall be exercised only during the annual general meeting or when not less than one third of the Members issue a notice to the Management Committee in writing.
Every Member shall be entitled to contest in the election unless disqualified in accordance with these By-Laws.
No member shall be entitled to vote on the questions of election of the Members of the Management Committee nor shall be entitled to contest for election to such office if she/he is inarrears of any sum due in respect of his/her subscription for more than 30 days on the last day of the year preceding the year in which the elections to the Management Committee would take place.
CAPITAL, FUNDS AND INCOME OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE COMPRISED OF
Raising of Funds
The funds of the Association shall be raised in the following ways:
By Subscriptions/contribution from Members and any other charges decided in the General body/Management Committee from time to time.
Donations and grants.
Interest on fixed deposit on any surplus funds.
By any other mode as may be decided from time to time by the Management Committee/General Body for implementation of aims and objects.
Utilization of Funds
The funds so raised by the Association shall be utilized towards all the expenses incurred by the association towards expenses in meeting Government Officials, payment of salaries to the staff employed for the performance of various functions on a regular/casual/contract basis for administration, expenses towards printing, stationery, postage, audit fee, legal fee, water charges, electricity charges and other services for maintaining the association office and any other charges as approved by the Management Committee/General Body from time to time.
The funds of the Association shall be spent only towards the accomplishment of the aims and objectives of the Association and no portion thereof, other than eligible refunds, shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly to any of its Members through any means.
The funds of the Association when not utilized for the purpose mentioned under these By-Laws may be deposited as fixed deposit/any other deposit with any nationalized bank(s) for an appropriate period to be decided by the General body/Management Committee. Such deposits together with the interest accrued, shall be utilized only for the Association.
All amounts payable to the association shall be paid by way of Cash, Cheques, Pay Orders, Demand Drafts and Electronic payment, in favour of “Telangana Solar Energy Association” payable at Hyderabad or through any other mode as may be decided by the Managing Committee / General Body.
